Brushes with wet acrylic paint
1. Remove any excess paint that might be on the brush by gently wiping the bristles on a soft rag.
2. Rinse the brush in warm water to remove as much additional paint as possible.
3. Wipe the bristles on a soft rag.
4. Using mild soap, gently work the bristles through the lather.
5. Rinse the brush in warm water to fully remove the soap.
6. Repeat steps four through five until the water from the brush runs clear.
7. Form bristles into a nice point and let dry.
Brushes with dry acrylic paint:
8. Soak bristles of brush in a solution of acrylic remover for approximately one hour.
9. Rinse the brush in warm water to fully remove the acrylic remover and paint.
10. Repeat steps one and two until all paint has been removed.
11. Follow steps four through seven of the wet brush directions to complete cleaning your paint brush.
