Make Stick Figure Games

Stick figure games can take a lot of brainstorming to figure out, but they are a great way to pass the time.

Playing tried-and-true games such as hangman and tic-tac-toe can grow boring, especially during long trips or vacations. Creating your own stick figure paper games is a great way to have something new and exciting to look forward to. Creating new stick figure games is something that you can do on your own or with another person. The best part about making your own games is the fact that you can customize your own rules.

Instructions

1. Think about what sort of game you would like to come up with. Popular stick figure games often involve words or numbers. Usually stick figure games involve an objective such as guessing a word, phrase, etc. After this, think of some of the rules that you would like to have for the game. Also think about how many players can participate in the game and how long the game should take. For instance, do you want a stick figure game that will be quick, or a game that can take close to an hour to finish? Usually quicker stick figure games are preferable because they allow you to play multiple rounds.

2. Practice drawing the various stick figures that you would like to have in the game until you are satisfied with the way they look. Also write down the directions for the game so you do not forget them. If possible, type up the rules on a computer and print them out to give them a more official look.

3. Play a trial game with friends or family members to see if there are any rules that need to be changed or clarified further. At the end of the game make sure to ask questions to the players about what worked and what did not work. By having a trial game you will be able to get rid of any confusing parts of the game to make it more enjoyable.

4. Promote your new game by playing it with others. This is an excellent way to have your new stick figure game spread around and it could eventually become a favorite among many. Promoting your game can take a lot of time and effort, but it will surely pay off when you see people playing and enjoying themselves with your creation.
