Make A Heart Popup Card

Put some heart into your card-making project.

Make your cards "pop" with a heart pop-up. Perfect for Valentine's Day, an anniversary or just to say "I love you," these cards will show someone how much you care. Make your own pop-up heart card and save some money while you customize the card as you see fit.

Instructions

1. Choose a colored paper. You can use cardstock if you'd like, but the card will be very thick if you choose cardstock for the interior. Fold the paper in half width-wise.

2. Draw a half-heart shape on the edge of the card. It's usually best to center it, but you can draw it wherever you'd like and choose the size as well.

3. Cut the top and bottom of the heart, leaving a small section of the heart uncut in the center. Open the paper half-way and push the heart shape inward. Close the paper. When you open it, the heart should pop out.

4. Choose a colored cardstock. Pick a different color than that of the paper you cut a heart into. Fold the cardstock in half. Glue the interior paper to the inside of the cardstock.

5. Decorate the card with markers, colored pencils, glitter, stamps, stickers and more.
