Make The Peace Sign On The Computer

The peace symbol is known all across the world.

Using emoticons and symbols in text is a way to keep things exciting. It is often hard to tell how the person on the other side of the screen is feeling, but if you use signs and symbols, you're sure to get the point across. The peace symbol was designed by Gerald Holtom in 1958, who created it as the symbol for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, or CND. Now, most of the world knows this sign as a symbol of freedom and peace. Adding this sign to your documents and Internet conversations may not disarm nuclear bombs or spread world peace, but it's a nice gesture.
