Draw A Cartoon Snowman Face

A familiar Christmastime figure, the cartoon snowman requires little more than just a few simple strokes of a pencil on a white piece of paper to come to life. No snow needed. Learn this jolly skill to make festive holiday pictures.

Instructions

1. Gather supplies to draw a cartoon snowman face. Begin with a clean piece of white sketch paper on a flat surface. Start with a pencil and eraser which makes errors easily correctable.

2. Sketch the snowman's nose to resemble a carrot. Angle a long, thin v-shape or a two sided triangle slightly downwards and to the left. Embellish the nose with striped ridges.

3. Illustrate the face with two button eyes. Make the button eyes with just a dot of the pencil on either side at the top base of the carrot nose. Add high arched eyebrows for more character.

4. Complete the cartoon snowman face with a smile. Draw about 10 smile buttons similar to the button eyes with a simple dot. Form the smile with a u-shape line beginning under the mid point of the carrot nose. Continue with more dots for a broader smile.

5. To finish, go over the pencil with permanent marker.
