What Foods Will Make My Skin Lighter

Lemon is a natural remedy used to lighten skin.


Commercial products claim to make your skin lighter. Although some products may work, they also contain chemicals that can be harmful to your skin. By using coomon foods to make your skin lighter, you are choosing a natural remedy without harmful side effects. The process will be gradual, but you will see results.


Cucumber


The application of thinly sliced cucumbers lightens skin, minimizes freckles and reduces dark circles under the eyes. Cucumber also moisturizes and refreshes skin.


Lemon Juice


Lemon juice is a popular skin lightener. Cut a lemon in half and rub it on your skin, or apply it with a cotton ball. Rinse the lemon juice off with warm water, and apply as needed until the desired results are obtained.


Lime Juice and Turmeric


Lime juice contains natural bleaching agents. Lime juice can be combined with turmeric powder and applied to the skin for a lightening effect. Rinse with warm water after the solution sets for 20 minutes.


Oatmeal and Tomato Juice


Oatmeal combined with tomato juice can lighten skin. Apply a thick mixture to the face, and allow it to set for 20 minutes. Rinse the mixture off with cold water, and repeat the process frequently until the desired skin-lightening results are achieved.


Potato Juice


Potato juice contains bleaching properties that lighten skin. Use raw potatoes and directly apply to dark areas of your skin that need lightening. Use lemon juice combined with potato juice for better results.
