Use a zombie stick figure as the basis for drawing a realistic-looking zombie.
Zombies in movies and television require extensive makeup and special effects to transform into the undead. In art, zombies can come to life through the combination of a pencil, paper and carefully-drawn lines. With these items, you'll have what you need to turn a common stick figure into a zombie. Whether you want your zombie to be menacing or comical, add details to give your zombie personality. This technique will also help you draw multiple zombies and create your own zombie army.
Instructions
1. Draw a circular head that's titled to the left. This is the side of the zombie's head, which will be facing the right. Draw a line below the head that curves right, for a neck and spine. Draw a line below the neck for shoulders that tilt to the left.
2. Draw arms coming down from the shoulders to stretch out across the body to the right. This will make the zombie look as though it's stalking its prey.
3. Draw a line for the hips that slants to the right. Draw legs from the hips, that slant to right, with one leg slanted further in, as if the figure is limping.
4. Draw a small circle with an "X" inside of it for the right eye. Draw a line for a mouth with jagged and missing teeth showing. Draw hair that sticks out on the top and left side of the head.
5. Add details like decaying flesh on the face or worms crawling out of the body. To draw clothes on the figure, make them look ripped by sketching holes in them. To make your zombie look like it died from something specific, like a knife or axe, draw the weapon sticking out of them, or going into one side of them and coming out of the other side.
