Blind is a skateboard company that produces quality decks the thickness of both eight and seven ply boards. It also offers vertically laminated cores and cores that contain aluminum and epoxy glass. The designs on each Blind skateboard are dark in nature and share one major factor in common: the reaper logo design. The key to drawing this design is to nail the shape before delving into the details.
Instructions
1. Sketch the reaper's outline with a pencil on a piece of drawing paper. The head should be a large balloon shape and the body's general shape is rectangular. The head should be as long as the body and twice as wide.
2. Fill in the facial features of the Blind reaper. The face is like that of a skull with a simple line across the mouth. Draw vertical dashes across the mouth line. The eyes are large ovals that should reach about halfway up the skull's face. The eyes are slightly crooked and the bottom halves are closer together than the top halves. The nose is a tiny upside-down U that rests just over the mouth line.
3. Color in the entire body with the side of your pencil to represent the heavy robes that the reaper wears. Surround the face with a black line and color a hood over the top of the head with an upward pointing tip.
4. Add the signature scythe. The scythe should be horizontal behind the reaper with the blade tip facing downward.
5. Use an eraser to remove any unwanted or overlapping lines.
