If you want to draw a sea creature the possibilities are endless. The only limit is your imagination. Sea creatures are simple and fun to draw. Learn draw a mythical sea creature and create your own underwater adventure.
Instructions
1. Draw the water. Make a squiggly line across your paper horizontally about mid-way up the page. Add the same sort of squiggly line above it and below it to give the appearance of ocean waves.
2. Create the head of your sea creature coming out of the water. This is the basic shape of your drawing. Start with your pencil on the wave and draw a curved line coming up out of the wave. Curve your line around to form a head. Bring the line back down to the top of the water to complete the sea creature's head.
3. Add in the facial features. These details are entirely up to your imagination. If you want your creature to appear scary, draw sharp, bold, pointed features. If you want a more friendly sea creature, make the features more rounded and soft in appearance.
4. Insert interesting details. If you want your sea creature to breathe fire, draw it into the picture, or your sea creature can be eating fish. Any imaginative details that make your drawing more interesting to look at. If you have trouble coming up with something, doodle to get your creative juices flowing. Sketch in the details and alter them as ideas come to you.
5. Give the drawing some color. There are no limits or rules to what color your sea creature or his surroundings need to be. Go wild or keep it calm as the color brings your sea creature to life.
