Make A Centerpiece With Angels

An angel makes an elegant centerpiece.

Instead of purchasing an angel centerpiece, customize your own and save money at the same time. Start with a favorite angel ornament to make a decorative addition to your table, mantel or anywhere else that needs a bit of holiday cheer. An angel centerpiece also works for a holiday wedding, church gathering or family Christmas dinner. Give to friend or loved one for a Christmas gift with a personal touch.

Instructions

1. Cut the floral foam to fit your desired holder for the centerpiece, and dampen in with water. Lay the foam in the bottom of the container or bowl.

2. Set your angel on top of the floral foam. If you don't want your ornament to get wet, place a layer of plastic between the wet foam and the ornament.

3. Cut the greenery into small pieces to arrange around the angel. Use longer pieces in the back and shorter pieces around the front of the angel. Cover the area so that little or no foam is showing.

4. Tie a bow, and wrap it around a piece of floral wire. Stick the wire with the bow on it into the foam. Make several of these if desired, or just one large one for the front of the centerpiece.

5. Secure pine cones and holly berries with wire, and place them around the angel into the floral foam.
