Orlando, situated in central Florida, is internationally known as a top tourist destination. The city is famous for its theme parks, golf courses, shopping malls and water parks. If you are planning a trip to Orlando, you probably already have some favorite attractions on your itinerary. If the weather turns rainy, you'll still have plenty to do.
Walt Disney World
A little rain won't ruin all your Walt Disney World plans. According to Orlando Vacation, several Disney attractions can provide plenty of fun during summer showers. In fact, many of the rides are indoors, and most have covered ride lines. You'll want to avoid some rides and make a beeline to others during a rainy day. For example, at Epcot Center, the Test Track is closed during rain. Some ideal Epcot attractions during the rain include The Seas with Nemo and Friends, the Gran Fiesta Tour and the Land Pavilion. Go to the Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and Mickey's Philharmonic attractions at the Magic Kingdom park. Try to avoid Downtown Disney and Disney's Animal Kingdom altogether on rainy days.
