Draw A Puppy With A Bow

Learning to draw a puppy with a bow is a great way to cheer yourself up or decorate notes to your friends. Once you know draw a simple puppy, adding the bow is a simple touch that makes your creation even more adorable.

Instructions

1. Sketch a circle for your puppy's head. Trace a tiny circle near the top of the head in the center for the nose. Just inside the top of the head, draw two small curves to form the top of the puppy's mouth. Connect these little curves with a wide "U" to make the puppy's mouth.

2. Draw an "m" at the bottom of the open puppy mouth to represent the tongue.

3. Place a pair of big, floppy ears on either side of your puppy's head.

4. Create legs by drawing a line from the left side of the puppy's head to near the bottom of the page. Leave just enough room for her paw. Make the paw by adding a "C" from the leg line to the bottom of the page. Repeat this on the other side, making the "C" shape go the other direction.

5. Separate the puppy's legs by drawing a straight line from the bottom of the paper up, stopping about two thirds of the way to the puppy's head. Give the puppy a tail by adding a thin "U" shape winding out from of one of the puppy's paws.

6. Give the puppy a bow by adding a small round circle just under her head. This is the center of the bow. Draw a larger oval on either side of this circle to complete it.

7. Decorate your puppy with colors or spots if you so choose.
