Make A Grim Reaper Costume

If you're interested in giving people a scare on Halloween you can't go wrong with the Grim Reaper. Stop people dead in their tracks with a swing of your scythe and a point of your bony finger. Avoid the trouble of creating an elaborate costume, the Grim Reaper is a frighteningly perfect choice.

Instructions

1. Find a full length, hooded black cloak. Be sure that the cloak goes all the way to the floor, covers your arms completely and has a hood. Flowing arms and a belt are ideal.

2. Wear a mask to turn yourself into a skeleton. Find a mask in the Halloween section of a store. Apply black make up around your eyes to look more sinister.

3. Paint a skeleton face by first covering your entire face with white make up. Draw and fill in circles around your eyes with black make up. Create an upside down heart on your nose and fill in the hollows of your cheeks. Use black eyeliner pencil to draw teeth over your mouth.

4. Purchase a pair of skeleton gloves. They're available in the Halloween aisle. Look for the gloves and mask in a set together.

5. Dress in black clothes and shoes under the cloak. Complete your costume with a plastic scythe.
