Make a Birthday Card for Him
Take the time to make a special birthday card for him. The card can be made using layers of paper and a sweet or romantic message. Incorporate visual and photographic elements to catch his attention and capture his heart. The card can be playful and slightly provocative, without going overboard. Use colors that appeal to him, such as the colors of his favorite sports team.
Instructions
1. Select a photo of yourself that he has not seen. Take a new photo with a digital camera if you want to surprise him. Keep the photo flirty, fun and slightly sexy, without going too far. The photo can be suggestive if you are in a romantic relationship, but keep it somewhat modest.
2. Print out two copies of the photo on high-quality, glossy photo paper. Do not touch the ink on the printed photo until it is completely dry. Grab the photo by the edges to remove it from the printer and place it on a flat surface until it dries.
3. Inside the card, glue a piece of lined notebook paper. Write a sentence or two about the person receiving the card, as if you had written about him in your journal. This will give the birthday card instant intimacy.
4. Include one copy of the photo inside the card. On the back of the card, write the date and "Happy Birthday." If you think he would like to frame this photo, do not glue it inside the card. Be sure to include an empty frame with the card, as a gift.
5. Glue the other photo to the front of the card. Cut a piece of paper to cover the top of the photo and the bottom of the photo. Leave part of the photo showing, either your lips or your eyes. Write something on the front to stir his senses, including, "For your eyes only," or "Top secret."
