1. Go to "Drawing Online" (see Resources) and play with its online tool to make a cartoon face. The buttons at the top of the screen include a pen tool, an eraser tool and several preset shapes. Instructions at the bottom of the page explain save and print a drawing.
2. Perform a web search for cartoon lesson websites. There are many websites that teach the basics of cartooning. Follow instructions by drawing into a sketchpad or onto paper.
3. Search video hosting websites for video tutorials explaining draw cartoon faces. There are entire channels devoted to cartooning lessons for beginners. Try copying other people's cartoons at first.
