Worry about organizing your comic creations, not drawing empty panels.
"Pow!" "Bang!" "Ha, ha, ha!" Budding cartoonists everywhere dream of tapping into the magic of comic strips. But drawing the panels that contain this magic can be tedious and frustrating. Luckily, sitting down with a ruler and a piece of paper is no longer necessary in this technological age; instead, blank comic strips can be conveniently found by harnessing the power of the Internet through a humble search engine's image search.
Instructions
1. Open your favorite search engine.
2. Click on the "Images" link (located in the top left of the browser window or just above the search field on most search engine websites). Clicking on this link will tell the search engine to search only for images.
3. Type "blank comic strip" into the search field and then press the "Enter" key. The website that loads up will show your search results in the form of thumbnail images.
4. Look through your search results until you find the exact, perfect blank comic strip that you are looking for. These search results will likely include common, three- or four-panel newspaper-style comic strips, full pages of blank panels, or popular comic strips with blank speech bubbles.
5. Click on the thumbnail image of your chosen blank comic strip to load the image on its original page. Various image options will also be available on this website, including either "Full-size image" (likely on the right side of the page) or "View Image" (likely on the top of the page). Clicking on either of these links will load the image by itself into your Internet browser.
6. Right click on the image to create a menu with options like "Copy Image" and "Save Image As."
7. Choose "Copy Image" if you want to paste your blank comic strip into a word processing document or an image editor. Or choose "Save Image As" to save a copy of the image to your hard drive. In either case, you will need a word processor or image editor to access the blank comic strip image.
