Edit the waveform of your project's sound with keyframes.
Adobe After Effects is a professional audio and video editing tool which allows users to add commercial-grade alterations and effects to digital media files, which can then be viewed online or exported to DVD or DV (Digital Video). Among the tools available to After Effects users is keyframing, which allows the parameters of media data to be changed over time. Adding keyframes to the audio data of a project is a quick process that increases your control over the project's sound.
Instructions
1. Load the project in After Effects whose audio you wish to modify.
2. Select the panel of After Effects containing the timeline. This is the long panel with a strip of audio and video data, usually located at the bottom of the screen.
3. Open the "Animation" menu and click "Keyframe Assistant."
4. Click "Convert Audio to Keyframes." The audio data of your project will now be represented as a series of movable points, representing the keyframes themselves.
