If you surf the Internet, the name Trogdor conjures up a screeching pseudo-heavy metal song and images of the Homestarrunner characters in a popular video posted on YouTube and on the Homestarrunner website. Trogdor, a dragonman drawn by Strong Bad, the boisterous red-suited character answering reader mail, has spawned T-shirts, patches, action figures and posters and gained legions of fans. Here's draw Trogdor.
Instructions
1. Grab a piece of paper and a pencil, then make drawing fun, showing your artist skills. Draw the letter S (for snake-or dragon) with a dark stroke, but nothing too fancy. Then, draw a different version of the S next to it.
2. Draw the head and close it up real good. Give him teeth and mean, heavy eyebrows using consummate Vs. Draw some wings on him, making him a wing-a-ling dragon.
3. Scribble some clouds and fire. After all, Trogdor's a fire-breathing dragonman. Give him one muscular arm. That's a human arm, not a wing-a-ling dragon arm. Admire his majesty.
4. Give him a catchy name. A monstrous heavy metal comic book name, like Trogdor the Burninator.
5. Insult the other Homestarrunner's characters' artistic attempts at drawing Trogdor. Burn Strong Sad's drawing. Stick with your version.
6. Compose a song for Trogdor. Sing lyrics about Trogdor the dragonman, or (maybe Trogdor the dragon) burninating the peasants and thatched-roof cottages. Screech like a metal singer during the chorus.
