Copy the markings and decorations from your favorite masks in your drawing.
Masks are usually found in cartoons covering the faces of super-heroes and villains to protect their identities. Cartoon masks are also great for drawing a masquerade ball or Halloween party. Scrapbookers can use cartoon masks to add decorations to their festive pages.
Instructions
1. Draw an oval. Cut the oval into quarters with a horizontal and vertical line.
2. Draw a half circle on either side of the oval below the horizontal center line.
3. Draw a small horizontal oval below the horizontal center line, cut in half by the vertical center line. Draw slanting ovals the same size from the top left and right sides of the horizontal oval. The slanting ovals should be cut in half by the horizontal center line.
4. Draw a large smile shape between the bottom of the horizontal oval and the bottom of the large oval. Draw a long, thin vertical cylinder extending down from the center-base of the large oval.
5. Draw a large semicircle from the top of the oval down to just above the slanting ovals. Erase the top line of the oval between the edges of the semicircle.
6. Erase the horizontal and vertical center lines. Outline the mask in ink; optionally darken the inside of the slanting ovals and smile with the ink pen. Add more decorations to the mask like crazy eyebrows, hair that extends from the sides, face scars or tattoos.
