Getting cartoon graphics for your website, blog, or even social networking profile can either cost you a lot of money or require you to add a link back to the owner and even specify copyrights. Creating your own quirky graphics for your personal use does not require fancy software. In fact, you can create a cartoon woman in Microsoft Paint just as easily as you could in a more expensive software program.
Instructions
1. Locate and open Microsoft Paint on your computer.
2. Select "Image" in the top-left part of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select "Attributes."
3. Adjust the width to 400 pixels and the height to 500 pixels. Click "OK".
4. Select the circle shape tool on your toolbar. If your toolbar is not visible, click on "View" and then select "Tools". Click on the black color. If your colors are not visible, again, click "View" and then select "Color Box".
5. Draw a small circle at the top of the canvas. This will be the woman's head. Be sure that there is plenty room left below the circle for the woman's body.
6. Create another, thinner but taller circle below the circle you've just drawn.
7. Add another two ovals below the last oval. These will be the legs. Draw two more small ovals to the left and right of the middle oval. These will be the arms.
8. Select your pencil tool. Create a more defined face by reshaping the inside of the circle.
9. Repeat Step 8 but instead create a more refined shape for the body of your woman. Add curves and begin to attach the head to the body by creating a neck and shoulders. Notice in the image, I did not attempt to draw feet or hands just yet.
10. Erase the unwanted lines in order to reveal the basic shape of your woman.
11. Create the outline of your woman's hands and feet using the freehand pencil tool.
12. Add the features of your woman using either the shape tools or by using the freehand pencil tool. Use black in order to create an outline.
13. Create the outline of the woman's clothing. Begin adding color to the image using the Paint Bucket tool.
14. Add hair to your woman using the paint brush tool.
15. Save your image as a JPEG file and upload it to your profile, blog, or website.
